Warranty & Return Policy

Captain Cadillac’s Cove warrants to the original purchaser of record that Captain Cadillac’s Cove new reproduction parts and refurbished original manufacturer parts will be free from defects in material and craftsmanship for a period of three months (90 calendar days) from the date of purchase. During this warranty period, Captain Cadillac’s Cove will replace the defective product with the same item or repair the refurbished original manufacturer item. Should that item not be available at that time due to being no longer in production, stocked or out of stock, the original purchase price shall be refunded upon return of the product.

Returns are only accepted on used items if you received an item different from what was ordered (You ordered a bezel, you received a switch) or the item is a new or refurbished product covered under warranty. You MUST contact us to receive a Return Authorization Number (RAN) PRIOR to shipping back any item. Returns without prior authorization on record will NOT be accepted upon delivery to us and sent back. We do not accept returns for parts if:

You ended up not needing it for any reason.

You purchased it for use on anything other than it’s correct intended or stated make/model/year and it didn't work out.

You or anyone with access to your device of purchase (PC, Tablet, Phone, Credit cards, Checkbook, Gold Dubloons) purchased it accidentally (Yes, we’re looking at you, random toddler who took daddy’s iPhone).

You purchased a warrantied item 15 months ago but only got around to installing it now and it doesn’t work.

We reserve the right to inspect any returned product prior to replacement for signs of improper usage or damage not caused by manufacturing defect or material failure.
Professional installation is highly recommended for all products. Any products returned damaged due to improper installation, abuse, accident, misuse, neglect, alteration, use as a testing device, missing original components or disassembly are excluded from all warranties.
All used and refurbished parts are marked for identification purposes and willful removal of such markings void any warranties, if any are available on said item.
Special/Custom order items are not eligible for return or refund. This includes: Wood veneers, carpeting, convertible tops, any upholstery items and painted parts.
Electrical parts are subject to repair or replacement ONLY for 30 days after the date of purchase if found to be non-functional through intended usage or natural failure. Improper installation, damage due to other defective parts or mishandling are not covered under this repair or replacement policy.
Captain Cadillac’s Cove is NOT responsible for any losses or costs associated with the purchase, resale or usage of the products sold. This includes taxes, customs/VATS fees, professional installation/removal costs, pizza and beer you bribed your friend with to install/remove said purchase for you, other items required for usage (new filters, fluids, gaskets etc.), return shipping/handling fees, lost time, gas, tolls, tickets, ransom, theft, acts of God and thermonuclear warfare.

You, the purchaser, understands that any used auto parts sold by Captain Cadillac’s Cove are way past the original manufacturer’s intended period of serviceability by at least 3 decades and their current and future longevity cannot be calculated or warrantied, so they’re not. But we do implore maximum effort to only sell used parts in the best serviceable condition possible. We don’t stock questionable or dubious parts on the brink of failure. If we wouldn't use it on our own cars, we don't sell it.
